Student Career Expo - December 1 & 2, 2009

Join us for the Third Annual Student Career Expo on Tuesday, December 1 and Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs.

Business & Industry | Colleges & Universities | Mock Job Interview & Student Video Competitions | Event T-Shirts, Giveaways & More!

Students will have the opportunity to explore various careers in Information Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Health Science, Bio Science and Entrepreneurialism and be exposed to regional businesses as they gain an awareness of the many different job opportunities awaiting them.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

  • All 10-12 grade high school students who have an interest in Information Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Health Science, Bio Science and Entrepreneurialism are eligible to attend.
  • Students may only attend this event through their school.

REGISTRATION - DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13

  • STUDENT REGISTRATION - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
  • Registration is $10.00 per attendee per day and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • If a student attends two days then their total cost is $20.00.
  • Registration fees are to be paid by each participating school. Schools will be invoiced on November 16, 2009
  • Registration is required in order to attend this event.
  • Registration includes attendance to the event, a boxed lunch with beverage and one event t-shirt per student.
  • Students may only attend this event through their school.
  • Each school is responsible to determine who may attend the expo.

  • Business and college check in is at 8:00 a.m. each day.
  • Student check in is at 8:30 a.m. each day.
  • The Expo starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m.
  • Lunch will be served to registered attendees at the Mid America Center

DRESS GUIDELINES

  • STUDENTS: Dress is business casual.
